Will you be the one for Mark Bautista?

After the success of probably the best collaboration concert this year entitled Pop Icons, Pop Heartthrob, Mark Bautista releases his second single Sana’y Dinggin Mo, a new original by LA based Filipino songwriter Jimmy Borja off his 4th album I’ll Be The One released by Viva Records and produced by Christian De Walden of Hollywood, the album shows Mark at his best vocally. This is the result of over five years of experience as a singer and actor ever since he emerged as runner-up to Sarah Geronimo in the Star for a Night singing contest.
Although he started out singing dramatic ballads and had hits like I Need You and Break It to Me Gently, he now makes his bid for the charts with lighter pop tunes. Among these is Why Can’t We, which is Mark’s very first composition, co-written with Vito and Alberto Mastrofrancesco and Lori Barth.
The other titles included are Too Slow, Stuck in My Heart Now, Take a Chance, Everytime I Close My Eyes, Love And Affection, I’ll Be the One, Just Look at Me, I Don’t Wanna Say Goodbye, Somehow I Knew and Don’t Tell Me About Heartaches which features his favorite singing partner, Sarah Geronimo.
Mark’s music video for his 2nd single “Sana’y Dinggin Mo” is currently airing on MYX and is gradually hitting the charts. He is set to arrive from THE NEXT ONE-U.S. Tour with Sarah Geronimo and Billy Crawford before May.
When Mark comes back local fans of the Sarah-Mark singing tandem will be in for a bigger treat as they will be touring again, but this time here in the Philippines. Dubbed as THE NEXT ONE-Philippine Tour the event kicks off on June 12 at the Dela Salle Sentrum, Lipa Batangas then on June 20 at the Bren Guiao Convention Center, Pampanga ; July 17 at the La Salle Gym, Bacolod City, July 31 Grand Pacific Ballroom, Cebu City. These are just the initial dates already set for the tour. Viva Concerts is still negotiating around 6 more key cities here in the country.
