Kimpoy Feliciano releases self-titled debut album!

Online sensation Kimpoy Feliciano has amassed a solid following in cyberspace with 436,377 Twitter followers, almost 100,000 Facebook likes and Tumblr followers, and more than 2,000,000 YouTube views. This online success opened the doors for different opportunities.
Kimpoy's carrier single "Ikaw Lang" enjoyed almost three weeks of stay in the MYX Daily Top Ten along with favorable airplay on radio.
"I am humbled and overwhelmed first with the trust and support given to me by Universal Records. I really never thought that I'd be given my own album, so nagpapasalamat talaga ako." said Kimpoy. "Aside from that, I am also equally grateful to all my friends and followers that showed support. Nakakataba ng puso na maraming nagpunta at nagbigay ng suporta." he adds.
The album also includes Kimpoy's renditions of Ngiti, Right Next To Me, I'll Be Your Hero, Una At Huling Mamahalin, and Alipin. It also comes with a DVD of all the music videos of the singles.
He was named as one of the National Peace Ambassadors for the "I Am For Peace" campaign. He said that he serves as an example to people in the social media by not going against his haters and absorb the criticisms instead.
Kimpoy is currently based in New Zealand taking up Business Management in University of Otago where he is currently in his second year. According to Kimpoy, his classmates in New Zealand were asking if he is a famous celebrity here in the Philippines because Kimpoy is the most followed Twitter user in New Zealand. He simply tells them "Everything is different in the Philippines."
His management, Orion Entertainment said that they saw something in Kimpoy that's why they decided to offer him an album because he does have the talent and it's amazing how he relates to different kinds of people. He loves talking to his Twitter followers most of the time, "Pag kumakain kami, magkukwentuhan, tapos maya maya hawak na niya cellphone na magttwitter." his management shares.
With fame now in his hands, Kimpoy promises to stay the same despite his achievements. "Sabi ko po sa mga kaibigan ko, pag yumabang ako isubsob niyo ako ha!" he said.
Kimpoy Feliciano's self-titled album is now available at all leading record bars nationwide. It comes with a DVD of all his music videos.
