Christian Bautista, Jed Madela, Sarah Geronimo and Erik Santos are among those who are nominated in the upcoming Aliw Awards 2012.
Aliw Awards, which celebrates its 25th year, honors singers, theater personalities, musicians, stand-up comedians, and other live performers. This years awards night will be held on November 26, 2012 at the Manila Hotel.
Kapamilya stars Christian Bautista, Jed Madela and Erik Santos are all nominated for Best Major Concert (Male Category) alongside Kean Cipriano of Callalily. This year, Christian got nominated for "X Class", Erik for "Greatest Theme Songs", Jed for "Beyond Expectations", and Kean for "One Stage One Night."
In the female category of Best Major Concert, Aiza Seguerra (Bente Singko), Anne Curtis (Annebisyosa: No Other Concert), and Sarah Geronimo (24/SG) will compete against each other for their concerts all held at the Araneta Coliseum.
"Random Karaoke Girl" Zendee Rose Tenerefe, who recently appeared on The Ellen Show, also got a nomination for Best New Artist alongside X-Factor Philippines 1st Grand Winner KZ Tandingan.
