Psy has come a very long way with his "gallop-like-a-horse" dance. The Korean singer's "Gangnam Style" will soon bring him to the stage of the American Music Awards!
On Monday Manila time, Psy will be one of the performers during the awards ceremony which honors the year's top artists. Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift, Linkin Park, No Doubt, The Wanted and Carly Rae Jepsen are also set to do production numbers on the show's 40th edition.
"The AMAs reflects pop culture, which is all forms of music, all genres, pop, rock, country, hip hop, alternative ... all these things that normally don't together. It's our job to make it flow," says producer Larry Klein.
Rihanna and Nicki Minaj lead the nominees with four each and are both vying for best female pop rock artist.
Other highlights will include a tribute to Dick Clark led by Stevie Wonder. Dick Clark is the founder of the AMA's. He passed away last April at the age of 82.
