He was hospitalized earlier this year for a month at the Sta. Ana hospital after his surgery due to abdominal pains. Friends of Bong have started fund raising events to support the frontman's treatments. According to Gege's post on Facebook, he is scheduled for blood transfusion today until November 17th and will have his chemotherapy soon but it was too late.
Grin Department has released 4 albums since the 90's and is known for their funny and naughty lyrics. The band has hits such as "Miss U" and "Barkada".
