Winning the Star For a Night singing competition in 2002 was her ticket to a professional career in music, but it's her sheer talent and ambition that earned her the moniker of “Popstar Princess.” Sarah Geronimo (b. July 25, 1988) is one of the most successful young artist in mainstream music to date, with a dedicated fan base boosting sales records and giving her numerous awards. Then again, she has been receiving awards since 1988 when she became Grand Champion of PLDT’s Tuklas Talino for  three consecutive years eventually earning her a "Hall of Fame" citation for conistently getting into the Vocal Solo category finals. Other accolades include Most Promising Female Performer from the Aliw Awards in 2004, Best Performance by a Female Artist for the song Forever’s Not Enough in September 2004, an Asia-Pacific Top Entertainer Awardee as Best Female Young Artist in June 2005 and a Female Entertainer of the Year citation from Gawad Amerika (December 2005), and yes, numerous Myx Music Awards.

Sarah has also expanded her repertoire from her earlier hits of power ballads like "Forever's Not Enough" and "I Still Believe in Loving You" to her previously released albums "The Next One" and "Record Breaker" containing more upbeat dance music. Apart from her successful music career, she has likewise conquered the silver screen with top-grossing films, notably "A Very Special Love" and "You Changed My Life" where she starred alongside local heartthrob John Lloyd Cruz.
