Lutong Pinoy, lasang Pinoy - SKABECHE strikes a chord of familiarity not just because its name alludes to the humble adaptation of the sweet and sour fish dish Escabeche, but because, though influence by the foreign sound of SKA, SKABECHE is very much Filipino as this bunch of true-blue Pinoy musicians have added their own touch into the genre.

Skabeche, a 10-member gang of musicians & on stage powerful performer has been milling the music scene for 10 years now. The band prides themselves as sons of Baliuag, Bulacan. Skabeche, hailed as one of the TOP INDEPENDENT ARTISTS in the Philippines recently launched their first ever full length album “TABLE FOR TEN”- it has 13 tracks all original Filipino & English songs (including the radio edit of their first single “Kaibigang Hangin” and the much awaited 2nd single “LABI SA LABI”.).

The album, produced by PINEAPPLE RIDDIMS RECORDING CO. (PARI MEMBER) and exclusively distributed by Viva records is mainly for the benefit of E-SUCH (Earnest Support for Underpriviledged Children) Charity Association Inc. – an association who support and take good care of young artists / painters and underprivileged children of Baliwag, Bulacan.
